This tour is specially designed for travelers who have little time but want to experience the highlights that the Amazon River and its tributaries have to offer.

We start at the market of Bellavista Nanay, we walk around the market looking at the exotic
dishes (worms, alligators), fruits, fish, etc. Then after a short tríp in a comfortable and safe
typical boat, we Will meet the intersections of the Nanay River (black) and the world’s largest
river AMAZONAS (muddy – brown).

The boat tríp Will allow you to see the marvelous panoramic view of beautiful landscapes and
some pink and grey river DOLPHINS along the river while you take advantage of the time to
breathe fresh air to clean your lungs.

Our first stop is in “Independencia” village to visit an overlook tower from where you Will have
a better view of the river size and the dense vegetation around.
Our second visit is “Fundo Pedrito” a farm of wildlife where you Will have the chance to
appreciate and feed to the famous and dangerous Piranha, arapaima gigas (world’s largest
freshwater fish), alligators, water turtles but also take photos of the Lily pads( huge water
plants).

Then we travel back to the Nanay River to visit a small aboriginal Bora tribe, an old native
family whose ancestors have moved from the border Perú – Colombia and have established in a
a small tributary of the Nanay River (Momom river) a long time ago, there you Will have the
chance to watch their ceremonial dances, Crafts, manguare (an instrument used to
communicate) but also appreciate their traditional clothes made of tree bark and Even learn a bit
about their dialect (Bora).

Our last visit is to the butterfly farm “Pilpintuwasi” a beautiful and interesting place inmerse
into the bush where you Will have the chance to see different species of butterflies, learn and
see all about them (all the process since they are born until they die) but also have the chance
to appreciate a wide variety of wildlife such as monkeys (the wird red-faced huacari) ,
macaws ( scarlet, blue and yellow) toucans, Tapir (a giant amazonian mammal), slots, jaguar
and more.
